Scanner Wedge for BlackBerry software allows BlackBerry users to instantly bar code enable any BlackBerry application.
Scanner Wedge provides basic
scanner connection management and transfers scanned bar codes to the
active application running on your BlackBerry® as though they were
typed into the keypad.

Scanner Wedge for BlackBerry Features:
- Bar Code enable any BlackBerry Application. Scan bar code data directly into mobile spreadsheets, mobile databases, even custom applications!
- Create an affordable alternative to a portable data terminal (PDT) using Scanner Wedge for BlackBerry software, a ROV Scanner with Bluetooth, and a BlackBerry device.
- Connects to ROV Scanner via Bluetooth wireless technology
- Works with any application that accepts keyboard input
- Automatically launch application and activate on device startup
- Strip characters from the beginning of a bar code
- Insert special characters to better control flow of scanned bar codes within the application (such as "ENTER" or "TAB" after a bar code is inserted)

Scanner Wedge for BlackBerry requires BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) administrative support and may not operate on your BlackBerry without administrative changes!
