Bar Code Scanners: Resources
The Scanner Connectivity Diagram is a visual tool to help you understand how ROV Scanners fit into data collection solutions.
Within the diagram, click on any Scanner Interface, Bar Code Scanning Software or Computing Platform to learn more.
To bar code enable an application:
- First, verify your computing platform is supported*
Then, identify your time to deploy:
- If you need to quickly add bar code scanning capability to your application without development, use Scanner Wedge or SerialMagic Pro software, or
- If you have time and development resources available, gain full data control and customization by integrating the ROV Scanner using SerialMagic API or Microvision SDK.
- Choose either the ROV Scanner or ROV Scanner with Bluetooth.
*Note that the computing platform will determine the available Scanner Interfaces, e.g. Bluetooth, Serial or USB.
