It’s been an exciting start to the fall season here at MicroVision.
As we continue to progress our business and look at ways of applying PicoP® scanning technology to emerging markets like 3D sensing and augmented reality, we are also welcoming a new member to our board of directors, Colonel (IDF res.) Yalon Farhi.
A graduate in Education Studies from Moreshet Yaacov College in Jerusalem and military study in the Israeli Defense Forces, Col. Farhi will sit alongside our fellow board members as a director.
Col. Farhi has quite an impressive career, which most notably includes his service in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). He has also owned a successful landscaping company for over 30 years, lectured at Bnei David Institute since 1998, worked for an Israeli non-government organization as an administrative manager and fundraiser for nearly 20 years, and acted as a consultant to multiple security companies. He also is currently a director at DarioHealth Corp. (NASDAQ – DRIO)
Given his background, Col. Farhi brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to our board. Our Chairman of the Board Brian Turner, fellow board members, and our leadership team all look forward to gaining his insight into the execution of MicroVision’s business plan.
