Votes for ‘Last Gadget Standing’

Hey everyone, the enthusiasm to ‘get out the vote’ has been amazing.   Over 145,000 votes for the SHOWWX in the on-line contest for the CES ‘Last Gadget Standing’.  Wow!  But, this level of enthusiasm has also raised the eyebrows of the organizers.  Apparently, there are instructions floating around on various independent chat rooms on how to ‘manipulate’ the vote, and stuff the ballot boxes.  The good news is that to keep this vote legitimate, for the overly enthusiastic ballot box stuffers, the contest organizers are tracking and will disqualify votes that are submitted beyond the 25 votes allocated to each individual unique visitor.  It’s o.k. to pass the word along to participate in the vote (as our good grass roots campaign has done)…it’s just not going to count to vote multiple times beyond the individual allocated 25 votes.  Thanks for the support.  And, have a Happy New Year!

CES would be a great time to announce a FIRM U.S. availability data for the SHOWWX…especially if Microvision wins the “Last Gadget Standing.”

While it is true that some people “over-voted” there really arent that many posters on the message boards that can account for anything more than a few thousand “stuffed votes”. I dont think anyone is deranged enough to vote 10,000 times–even 1000 would be extremely laborious–so if 25 or 30 people account for 20,000 votes (unlikely) the SHOW WX is still in the lead by a wide margin.

OK then, where do we buy one…?

apparently the shareholders don’t see the company carrying its own weight.

Since putting in my votes a week ago I’ve checked out the site a few times to see the progress. Most of those times the site told me I had 0 votes left, but on two occasions it said I had 25 again, so I took ‘em. I did put some in for the Motorola guys too though, seeing as they put their name behind us a long time ago.

It’s all good and that the projector can do amazing things, but where can you get one? This is last decade’s technology anyway. If Microstation doesn’t want to release it to the gerneral consumer market, that’s tough. I have given up waiting anyway and went for Axxa M1 Plus instead which has the new amazing 66 lumens output, much brigther than this none existence show wx. I think the whoel showwx is a scam after all. What a joke!!
