After his trip to Asia where he joined the conversation about next-generation 3D depth sensors at the MEMS & Sensors Industry Group Conference, MicroVision’s Director of Technical Marketing and Applications Development, Jari Honkanen, was on the road – or, in the air – again to speak at MSIG’s 12th annual MEMS & Sensors Executive Congress 2016 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Jari was invited to present on MEMS and sensors as key enabling technologies in the automotive market, and discussed the benefits of applying MicroVision’s MEMS scanned virtual image HUD and LIDAR sensor concept for ADAS applications.
Other speakers on the agenda included Jérémie Bouchaud, Director & Senior Principal Analyst of MEMS and Sensors at IHS Markit, who highlighted MicroVision as a player for the future of MEMS-based LIDAR solutions in his talk, “The Car of the Future: Outlook for MEMS & Sensors.”
Jari had a chance to connect with Jérémie at the congress to further discuss potential applications of our PicoP® scanning technology, along with trade media and analysts from MEMS Journal, EE Journal, EDN and more!
