SHOWWX Works With a Variety of Devices
Your Device Must Have TV/Video-out Capability
What is TV/Video-Out? TV/Video-Out is a capability that allows a device (like an iPod, for instance) to send a video signal to another device (such as SHOWWX). Here’s a few examples of common TV/Video-Out devices and what they connect to:
- Desktop PC connected to a monitor
- DVD-player connected to a TV
- Video game console connected to a mounted projector
To find out if your device has TV/Video-out, we recommend you read the product user manual or search on the web for the product’s technical specifications.

SHOWWX Connectivity with iPod
iPod devices provide a TV/Video-out signal for picture slideshows and video content
(music videos, full-length movies, video Podcasts, etc.). Below are the models and generations of iPod devices that are compatible with the SHOWWX:

SHOWWX Connectivity with Composite Adapter
The SHOWWX is compatible with a host of devices that provide Composite TV/Video-out.
To learn what content is available through TV/Video-out, refer to the device’s owner manual
or search for specifications on the web. When connecting via composite, your device will need a male adapter (Pictured below).

SHOWWX Laptop Connectivity
The SHOWWX is compatible with a host of laptops, netbooks and the
MacBook and MacBook Pro.

Connecting to these devices requires the SHOWWX VGA Dock, sold separately.
