Scan bar codes into ANY BlackBerry software application that accepts keyboard input.
Scanner Wedge software provides a direct connection between the ROV
Scanner and your BlackBerry software application. While running, Scanner
Wedge will transfer scanned bar codes into your software application as
if they were typed into the keypad.
Scanner Wedge for BlackBerry Features:

IMPORTANT NOTE!
Scanner Wedge for BlackBerry requires the “Keystroke Injection” (or “Input Simulation”) permission on the BlackBerry smartphone to be set to ‘Allow’. The default is ‘deny’. Users with BlackBerry handhelds with OS version 4.2.1 (any Blackberry from 2008 and beyond) should be able to change this setting. If you are not able to change this setting, contact your BES administrator. Here is information about BES setting requirements.
