The Microvision
USB Cable enables both simple, on-the-fly scanning and feature-rich
scanning found in software applications like Scanner Wedge and
SerialMagic Pro.
This product is highly recommended with the ROV Scanner. To transfer barcodes using USB technology, you must use Microvision USB cables.
The USB Cable functions in two modes, changeable by a selector switch:
1. Keyboard (KBD) Mode - Just plug in and scan. Full Plug 'n' Play functionality; scan bar codes into any application without the need for additional software or drivers.
Keyboard mode works on the following platforms only: Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
2. VCOM Mode Use with software applications such as Scanner Wedge, SerialMagic Pro or any other 3rd party software applications that have fully integrated the ROV Scanner. Requires free driver download.
