Since its inception, Microvision has been involved in light scanning technology, which uses a single beam of light to project still or moving images onto a variety of surfaces. Using light scanning technology, we have produced and delivered various display and imaging demonstration units to commercial and U.S. government customers.
More recently we have capitalized on our past research and development successes to produce the PicoP display engine, an ultra miniature projection display module that can be embedded into a variety of next generation products including Pico Projector Displays, Wearable Displays, and Vehicle Displays. We have also developed a MEMS-based scan engine for use in the company’s ROV Scanner commercial bar code scanner product line.
Microvision’s patented MEMS scanner is at the core of each of our display and imaging engines.
