Sumit Sharma was appointed MicroVision CEO in 2020 after overseeing the company’s Engineering, R&D, products, and operations functions. Prior to joining MicroVision, he held leadership roles at Google[x], Jawbone, and MicroOptical.
Anubhav Verma joined MicroVision as its Chief Financial Officer in 2021. Anubhav is responsible for overseeing the finance, accounting, IT, and facilities teams. Before joining MicroVision, he led significant growth initiatives and acquisitions at Exela Technologies. Prior to that, he spent nearly eight years as an investment professional and investment banker in a wide variety of capital market and M&A transactions.
Drew Markham joined MicroVision in 2021 to lead the legal team and people operations. Previously, she advised publicly traded technology companies in corporate governance, M&A, and capital markets transactions, having served in both external and in-house counsel roles. She spent 14 years at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and eight years working with RealNetworks.
Dr. Thomas Luce joined MicroVision in 2021 to lead business development for automotive lidar and channel sales. Holding a Ph.D. in nonlinear optics, Thomas spent his professional career in the automotive industry with leadership roles at Philips, Schefenacker, Valeo, and Optoflux, growing Optoflux into a global company and adding LED, silicone, and lidar optics to its portfolio.
Chris Adkins has led innovation and development in MicroVision’s analog, digital, and hardware technologies since joining the company in 2007. He continues to drive our innovation in hardware design, control systems, analog and digital systems, and mixed-signal ASIC development.
Tom Byeman has been developing MicroVision’s core optomechanical and manufacturing technology platform since joining the company in 2007. He has managed teams in engineering, operations, product integrity, and global supply chain partnerships.
Jari Honkanen leads MicroVision’s perception at the edge software development for automotive lidar products. He joined the company in 2002. With previous technical leadership positions in Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) platform technology development and interactive display module products, Jari holds patents in LBS core technology, 3D depth sensing, lidar, and their applications at MicroVision.
