As summer winds down, we’re kicking off fall early with a full schedule of events. As is the case for most businesses, our calendars are filling up quickly here at MicroVision. Between Labor Day and Thanksgiving, our team will be participating in a number of industry events to provide business updates and maintain relationships with those already interested in our company, while also engaging new people with our patented PicoP® scanning technology.
As discussed on our last conference call, we are exploring opportunities in emerging markets like interactive pico projection, 3D sensing and imaging and augmented reality, along with the pico projection and HUD markets that have been the core of our focus more recently. Our goal in attending several marketing and investor events is to become more involved in these spaces by sharing our story with diverse audiences and cultivating relationships that can lead to growth opportunities for MicroVision.
Here’s a quick look at where we’re headed:
Liolios Gateway Conference
September 7-8, 2016 | San Francisco
MicroVision’s CEO Alex Tokman and CFO Steve Holt were invited to present at the 5th annual 2016 Gateway Conference. Alex will discuss the company’s business plan and recent progress.

We are headed back to Japan’s largest IT and electronics trade show! This year’s theme is “Connecting Society, Creating the Future,” and we’re excited to join that narrative and showcase a World on Display enabled by PicoP® scanning technology. We’ll demonstrate the capabilities enabled by our patented solution for projected display and image capture.
As you might remember, Sharp, one of our Fortune Global 500 partners, showed off RoBoHoN at least year’s show.
MEMS & Sensors Executive Congress 2016
November 10, 2016 | Scottsdale
Jari Honkanen will attend the industry event to discuss how MEMS and sensors are enabling Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Head-Up-Display (HUD) applications in the automotive market. A focus will be placed on the new and innovative sensor capabilities enabled by our MEMS scanned LIDAR sensor concept, in addition to how MEMS devices can be applied to Automotive Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) HUDs.
We’re looking forward to discussing how MEMS is becoming a key enabling technology for both automotive ADAS and HUD systems.
You can view and download the presentation we’ll be making at the investor conferences on our website.
